Description
This Saxifrage (Strawberry Geranium) has thick rounded gray-green leaves with scalloped margins, silver hairs and pewter veins with maroon undersides. Rising above the low growing velvet soft mat, wispy 5-petaled pink-tinged white flowers hover on delicate 18″ stalks. Maroon Beauty is equally at home in a shady rock garden, in a dappled garden, or a shaded container. It will send out runners like a strawberry, which makes it a great spreading groundcover.
