Description

Named for Toichi Itoh, who successfully crossed a tree Peony with an herbaceous Peony in the 1940’s, these gorgeous peonies are in high demand, prized for their huge, full blooms and impressive foliage. In the past, Itohs were challenging to grow, hard to find, and expensive. Not any more! Canary Brilliants is a showy mid- to late season bloomer with fully double blooms offering a light, spicy fragrance. Flower color ranges from butter yellow to creamy apricot, developing varying degrees of pink, providing a bouquet of exquisite color on each plant.
