Salvia is one of the best garden plants you can add to your garden. It'll shrug off heat and humidity, and just keep flowering. This one grows beautiful blue flowers all summer long. As the flowers age, the calyx remains deep-blue after the actual flower falls off, giving the impression that the entire flower stalk remains in flower, giving a greater floral presence in the garden. It tops out at about 4 feet, great as a thriller in larger mixed contaienr planters. Salvia are known as hummingbird and pollinator magnets, and this one is no different!
