Graceful Grasses® | Baby Tut® | Umbrella Grass
Baby Tut grass, also known as umbrella grass, is a medium-height, annual, ornamental grass that can grow up to 2 feet tall and 18 inches wide. It has green foliage and a mounded habit, and flowers in the spring and summer. This is great as a pond plant in pots, along the water's edge of a pond, or even in a pond. The crown of the plant should never be covered in water and in fact can thrive in water as shallow as a few inches. It can be used in water gardens, landscapes, and mixed containers. Because of its love of water, it can happily decorate a water's edge or even grow in the water, even in only a few inches. However, only the root ball should be submerged; the crown has to be above water level.
