High Color | Vinca Major
Vinca major, with the common names bigleaf periwinkle, large periwinkle, greater periwinkle and blue periwinkle, is an evergreen perennial plant that can produce colorful flowers in the spring and summer. High Color is a trailing vine with green and cream variegated leaves, spreading along the ground and rooting along the stems to form dense masses of groundcover. This foliage is what people want, but the small periwinkle blooms add a lovely touch from May to June. This may survive the winter and return as a perennial, because it's zoned to 7.
