Ready to grow your own food or flowers from seed?  This 60-minute class will cover the basics of seed sowing, giving you the knowledge and confidence to start your own seedlings. We’ll explore container options, the best soils for germination, proper watering methods, and the pros and cons of heat mats and artificial lighting versus natural light.  We’ll also discuss essential post-germination care, the hardening-off process, and when and how to fertilize.  Plus, our staff will be available for continued support after the class, so you’ll never be on your own!
